Weather-related cancellations:
In case of poor weather conditions, we will do our best to adjust the schedule, either by changing the time or, if necessary, rescheduling the trip to another date.
Unfortunately, for multi-day expeditions, we cannot offer a partial refund, as we pay for the package in advance. However, in such cases, we will provide alternative desert activities instead of the missed boat trip, such as artisanal pottery, horseback riding in the desert, mammal and bird watching, among others.
Crew safety decisions: The crew reserves the right to stop the tour at sea due to weather or safety concerns.
Mechanical issues
Trips cancelled due to mechanical problems will be fully refunded.
No refund for personal reasons
- In case of seasickness, illness, or a personal decision to stay on land, no refund will be issued.
- Late arrivals or early returns: Te Ma’o Expeditions is not responsible for participants who arrive late or need to leave early. No refunds will be given, and Te Ma’o Expeditions will not cover any additional costs.
