A few kilometres from the city of La Paz lies this small fishing village, and overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the magical island of Cerralvo. This incredible place has been the inspiration for great sailors and adventurers. It is not only its beauty that makes it special, but also its marine biodiversity, which is unique in the world.
At the heart of this place is born Te Ma’o, spirit of the Maori shark protector. A dive and expedition centre that seeks to support the local community, preservation of biodiversity, and to let the world know about this secret village… La Ventana.
